Across the district, multiple standout athletes helped propel teams from tennis to baseball, soccer and more to compete for playoff positions and earn multiple honors.

Lewis-Palmer High School Highlights:

The Lewis-Palmer High School Men’s Swim and Dive team went undefeated in their Dual and Championship season. Following the season, the team ranked 15th in the 5A state championship.

Four Lewis-Palmer High School Women’s Tennis players were state qualifiers after battling out the regular season.

The Lewis-Palmer High School Baseball team slid into home base with a 21st seeding in the Class 4A Region 4 playoff bracket and will face off against Thomas Jefferson to advance. In addition to this, Max Randis was honored by KOAA as one of their Athletes of the Week this spring.

Palmer Ridge High School Highlights:

The Palmer Ridge High School Women’s Tennis program placed second in the 4A State Championships after their entire team qualified for states.

The Palmer Ridge High School Women’s Soccer program continues to battle it out in the playoffs, earning a spot in the final four of the 4A bracket.

The Palmer Ridge High School Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams are competing at the state level with 23 athletes qualifying.

Alec Falk, who has committed to the Air Force Academy’s football program, set a new school discus record with a toss for 182’9 as he earned a state championship for the sport. The Palmer Ridge High School Men’s Track & Field Team placed 11th overall in the state competition and the Women’s team took 17th overall.

The Palmer Ridge High School Women’s Lacrosse team earned a playoff spot. They did not advance past the first round.

Hannah Hermann earned a spot in the 4A State Championship Golf tournament and competes beginning on May 31.
